Our Background

The Risk Intelligence Group was established in 2017, when Director and Chief Executive Officer Itani Tseisi saw the opportunity to leverage his valuable experience as Chief Risk Officer within numerous public sector organisations to launch a successful business.

The company’s operations span across Africa with offices in Johannesburg and Makhado in South Africa and Gaborone in Botswana. The Chief Executive Officer has successfully designed and implemented Enterprise Risk Management systems in various organisations and governments.

Our Leadership

The Chief Executive and Principal Consultant – Itani Tseisi

Mr. Tseisi boasts more than 24 years of professional work experience within sectors including Information Technology, Banking, Broadcasting, Accounting and Auditing, Sports Administration, Music and Entertainment. He is highly qualified and has comprehensive experience working in financial management, accounting, risk management, compliance and governance functions at senior and executive levels of various organisations.

Mr. Tseisi established Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks for the governments of two African countries, namely The Republic of Botswana and The Gambia. The two ERM implementations contributed significantly to Mr. Tseisi being recognised by the Institute of Risk Management South Africa with an award as the runner-up Africa Risk Management Practitioner of the Year 2018.

  • Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting
  • Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) – Management Accounting
  • Articles with PricewaterhouseCoopers
  • Certified Risk Management Practitioner (Board examination with the Institute of Risk Management South Africa)
